Richard Scrushy, the fired chief executive and founder of HealthSouth Corp., who had been involved in a massive fraud at his company, has been accused of hiding more than $600 million in accounts outside the US.

He has been ordered by a judge to pay $2.8 billion for his role in the fraud, though he has denied any wrongdoing.
