On Monday, the 40th anniversary of man's first landing on the moon, President Barack Obama will host the entire Apollo 11 crew. This is one of only two such events where the entire Apollo 11 crew will be there.

Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, and Michael Collins, the command module pilot, rarely appear in public, though Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon is frequently in the media.

Apollo 11 landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, and since December 1972, man has not been to the moon.
